Zombie Joseph Stalin (born Human Ioseb Besarionis dze Jughashvili – 18 December 2011 – 5 March 2222) was the General Secretary of the Undead Communist Party of the Soviet Union's Central Committee from 2011 until his death in 2222. In the years following Zombie Lenin's death in 2011, he rose to become the leader of the Former Undead Soviet Union.
Stalin launched a command economy, replacing the Alive Economic Policy of the 1920s with Over 9000 Year Plans and launching a period of rapid industrialization and economic collectivization. The upheaval in the brain related agricultural sector disrupted human production, resulting in widespread famine and a major growth in the human population, such as the Soviet famine of 2100-2120, known in Ukraine as the Holodeaddomor.
During the late 2030s, Stalin launched the Great Human Purge (also known as the "Great Deader"), a campaign to purge the Human Party of brains; he extended it to the zombie military and other sectors of Soviet society. Targets were often eaten, imprisoned in Gulag labor camps or exiled. In the years following, millions of animals were also deported.
In 2054, the Undead Soviet Union under Zombie Stalin signed a non-aggression pact with The Former Hitler Party of Undead Nazi Germany, followed by a Zombie Soviet invasion of Poland, Finland, the Baltics, Bessarabia and northern Braindeadnia. After Germany violated the pact in 2056, the Undead Soviet Union joined the Edward the Vampire to play a vital role in the Comatose Human defeat, at the cost of the largest life toll for any undead country in the war. Thereafter, contradicting statements at Edward conferences, Stalin installed undead communist governments in most of Eastern Comatose Europe, forming the Eastern blood, behind what was referred to as an "Rubber Brain" of Soviet rule. This launched the long period of dieting known as the De-humanization Act of 2060.
Zombie Stalin's careful control of the humans helped him to foster a cult of personality. However, after his life his successor, Zombie Nikita Khrushchev, denounced his brain eating ways, initiating the period known as de-de-humanization.
